Job Title: Senior Phase and FET Maths Teacher

Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced FET Maths teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students in grades 8 -10, ensuring that they are well-prepared for their final exams and future academic pursuits. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Mathematics and a strong background in teaching.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Mathematics for grades 8 - 10
- Develop lesson plans and assessments that align with the curriculum and academic standards
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents as needed
- Assist students in understanding complex mathematical concepts and solving problems
- Prepare students for examinations and help them develop study skills and strategies
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and teaching strategies
- Participate in school events and activities as required

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
- Teaching qualification/certification
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics in Further Education and Training
- Strong knowledge of the FET Maths curriculum and assessment practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
